This is an exceptional, 19th century baseball ring bat from the 1880's. Made by Peck and Snyder, this antique baseball bat is a beautiful example from what is arguably the most desirable of all baseball bat and equipment makers. This bat is 32 inches of a vintage baseball bat collectors dreams. A bold, stenciled center logo boasting the Peck & Snyder maker, as well as the model which is X. L. TREE. The patina is ideal and the scarce green rings are a wonderful addition to a collectible that rarely sees any color.

19th Century Baseball Bat - 1890’s D&M Union League Model Ring Bat

An amazing 1890’s D&M Ring Bat with RED painted ring. A quick look at the images above reveals the remarkable NR-MT to MINT condition of this extremely scarce and desirable vintage baseball bat. In 24 years this is the only D&M baseball ring bat that we have ever seen, and amazingly the condition is outstanding! This exceptional antique baseball ring bat features a large and detailed D&M Lucky Dog logo stenciled at center along with the model - UNION LEAGUE. Next to that is a broad painted ring in the color of scarlet. This fine bat measures 34 inches long and remains is gorgeous NR-MT to MINT condition, exhibiting no obvious signs of ever being used. One of the most impressive vintage bats that we have handled in a long time.

Vintage Baseball Bat - 1895 Spalding Baseball Bat

ITEM 14: The offered item is an 1895 Spalding Bat with a huge “The Spalding” logo stenciled at center. This is the Model B, the EXACT bat that is shown in the above Spalding catalog from 1895. Along with the center logo this bat is also identified just above the handle as the Model B. This is another first for us, as we have not handled another in the past 24 years. Also of note is the very early Spalding trademark logo that is stamped into the knob.

19th Century “Wagon Tongue“ Style Baseball Bat

Vintage baseball bat is a19th Century "Wagon Tongue" Style Baseball Bat. This antique baseball bat is a fine example of this highly sought after bat style. It measures over 35 inches and features a flat cut at both the knob and barr ell ends. The graining is beautiful and the surface is ideal. The knob is very unique and well formed but remains imperfect with a chip. This antique baseball bat represents a fine example from this era with a wonderful look and great display ability.

Vintage 19th Century Trophy Baseball Bat

Vintage 19th Century Trophy Baseball Bat. This exquisite early bat is made of dark rosewood with a spherical knob on the handle end. It was used as a traveling trophy, that is to say that it was passed on from year to year to the annual winning team. In typical antique style, present are three areas of silver plate for trophy inscription. While the bat is more than 100 years old it has been beautifully maintained and possesses an ideal patina.

19th Century Hand Turned Baseball Bat

19th century hand turned baseball bat with a very unique style of knob. This antique baseball bat has a very thick barrel, similar to that of a bottle bat. The vintage war club has an ideal patina with a very attractive wood grain finish. A fine example from this era with a truly unique look!

1860-70's Hand Turned Bat with Unusual Ball Knob

This is an 1860-70's hand turned bat with unusual ball knob measuring 33 inches. A great early bat!

1870's Baseball Ring Bat

1870's Baseball Ring Bat. This phenomenal baseball bat is one of the earliest ring bats that we have seen. This unique vintage bat was hand made and features rings in the knob and handle area as well as a black tip. These markings are typical of 19th century baseball bats.

1880's Green and Red Baseball Ring Bat Model No. 547

1880's Green and Red Baseball Ring Bat Model No. 547. This vintage baseball bat goes back to a different time in baseball. Uniforms were fancy and colorful sometimes decorated with stars and or bold stripes, colorful belts were worn and even the bats were made to appear colorful and fancy. The offered bat harkens back to those days... having green paint, red and black stripes and fancy lettering. At roughly 130 years old this bat has seen a lot of use but still maintains a fine patina.

1880-90ís Ring Bat - Vintage Baseball Bat

880-90ís Ring Bat with a great logo of a full figure 19th century batter inside a diamond. To the left side of the standing batsman is the word "Trade" and on the right side of the figure is the word "Mark." Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the company and am unable to find it on the logo. I believe it was printed on the jersey of the player but cannot be certain. In any event, the bat is an outstanding example of the ring bat style. The rings are strong and the knob is well formed with the distinct lathe markings on the end.

1890's Reach Ring Bat

This is an 1890's Reach ring bat with an exceptional center logo of red and black rings which reads "REACH RED BAND" inside the red band, 31", a great early example!
