Turn of the Century Spalding Crescent Pad Workman's
Glove. This vintage glove is of very high quality and
features the crescent padded heel. That is the raised
area of padding that curves around the heel of the glove.
The Spalding cloth patch located on the wrist strap identifies
the glove's maker and is in excellent condition. A small
area of interior liner was carefully removed to create
a deeper "pocket" for catching the baseball,
this was a common practice during this era.
