Vintage 19th Century Trophy Baseball Bat. This exquisite
early bat is made of dark rosewood with a spherical knob
on the handle end. It was used as a traveling trophy,
that is to say that it was passed on from year to year
to the annual winning team. In typical antique style,
present are three areas of silver plate for trophy inscription.
While the bat is more than 100 years old it has been beautifully
maintained and possesses an ideal patina.
