1911 World Series Ticket Stub. This extremely rare
stub is from Game 2 of the 1911 World Series of Baseball.
The American League was represented by Connie Mack's Athletics
of Philadelphia and the National League featured the New
York Giants led by John McGraw. Of special interest is
that it was in this very game that the Philadelphia Athletics
Hall of Fame great, Frank "Homerun" Baker, earned
his nickname. It was his sixth inning homerun that won
the game for the Athletics and he was forever more known
as "Homerun" Baker.
