1890’s Individual “Sewn-On” Leather Football Shoulder Pads. Representing the first form of shoulder protection, these independent pads were designed to be sewn onto the sweater or jersey. They were offered by Spalding, Victor and other leading sporting goods manufacturers during this era. Considered EXTREMELY RARE.
