1910-15 Black Leather Dog-Ear Style Leather Football Helmet

This leather football helmet was made by the Thomas E. Wilson sporting goods company. The same Wilson sporting Goods that we know of today. This is a great vintage "dog-ear" style helmet described as such because of the "floppy" ears. It is a fabulous example from this time period in the evolution of the football helmet. It is of very high quality, black leather and maintains the original chin strap. It shows a modest amount of wear and grades EX-MT.
