1940-43 Harvard Football Letter Sweater and Team Photo. This is quite an exceptional piece of vintage football and Harvard football memorabilia. A great ensemble which includes the original football letter sweater worn by a player named Fisher who played for the Harvard University football team. The sweater is of the highest quality, was made by the James W. Brine Sporting Goods Company and remains in gorgeous EX-MT condition. Accompanying the football sweater is a 1940 photograph of the Harvard University football team. Posed at center is a player holding the trophy football from their win against Yale. It features the year 1940 and the score, Harvard-16 and Yale-6. The photo is in its original 12"x15" frame.
