1900-10’s Spalding Lawn Tennis Shoes. This is a fabulous pair of very unusual and early tennis shoes made by Spalding. They are made of black canvas with a rubber sole. The rubber sole has a very unusual tread, much like that found on the same era stacked leather football cleats. However, this tread is all solid molded rubber... very unusual! Vintage tennis shoes from this era are very rare and this pair with the unique tread and solid EX-MT condition, is outstanding!
